Todd Umbenhauer: BUT IT'S REALLY ABOUT YOU! “You are doing what?” some of my colleagues asked. “Posting to a blog” I responded. “Why?” they queried. You can imagine where the conversation went from there. If you would have told me when I was first licensed in real estate nearly 40 years ago that I would be creating virtual tours, promoting “Showcase Listings” on Realtor.com, and posting to something called a blog, I am sure my response would have made some reference to Star Trek! My father has often said, “Lead, follow, or get out of the way!” This has been easy advice for me to follow in my real estate career. As a former public school teacher, I have always been about education, so embracing new technologies is something I am passionate about. I could tell you about my experience, my Realtor Association leadership, and my church involvement, but this blog is about you! Let me know what your questions are and what you would like to hear about. You ask – I’ll post! BTW – if a real estate transaction is in your future, your complete satisfaction is my goal!
